Samantha has already completed an Intermediate Business Administration Apprenticeship at CIA Fire & Security and has now progressed on to an Advanced Customer Service Apprenticeship. Samantha enjoys being able to learn as she works, knowing that she is improving her skills in the workplace. Samantha also enjoys the regular reviews that she is part of between herself, her manager and the college and she feels it allows her to see how far she has come and the feedback she receives helps her to boost her confidence within the workplace.
Hannah, like Samantha is also doing an Advanced Customer Service Apprenticeship, having completed the Intermediate Business Administration Apprenticeship with CIA Fire & Security. Hannah chose to apply for an Apprenticeship because she wanted to develop her skills and knowledge. The Apprenticeship gave her the opportunity to her maths and English qualifications. An Apprenticeship was a good choice for Hannah as it gave her the ability to earn money whilst gaining a qualification. Hannah feels that she has progressed well within the company and hopes that her skills can progress with other opportunities in the future.
CIA Fire & Security Ltd said of their apprentices “A large majority of our apprentices stay within the business and get promoted, Hannah was promoted from Receptionist to Service Co-Ordinator within 18 months of working for us and Sam has just been seconded from Reception to Installation Administrator after just over a year with us.”
