Student visit to Prague

Travel, Business and Engineering students joined forces for a 4 night trip to Prague. This provided the travel students with an excellent insight to what a city like Prague has to offer to a range of tourists. Students successfully navigated the local transport system, and visited sights such as Prague Castle, The Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square and Lennon Wall.

A visit to the Skoda factory included a talk about the history of Skoda and the opportunity to follow the production of a car through their state of the art factory. During our time there we also visited a chocolate factory where students joined a chocolate workshop and designed their own chocolate bars. Finally the students were treated to a trip to the Staropramen Brewery and followed the process of brewing the beer through to it’s packaging and distribution.
