Good luck Kirsty

Good luck to Cirencester College student Kirsty Poulton from Lea who will be participating in the Dodson and Horrell National Amateur and Veteran Championships in Showjumping at Aintree International Equestrian Centre next week.

This is the first time that Kirsty has competed in these prestigious championships and she will be joined by amateur show jumpers from all over the world.   Kirsty has been a keen show jumper since she was 3 years old and has competed all over the country including the Scope Championships, the Championships of Great Britain and at the home of the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead.

Kirsty is in the second year of her Sports and Exercise Science course at Cirencester Sixth Form College and says that the course is useful in helping look at performance analysis and dietary requirements which helps performance with all sports.  Kirsty herself hopes in the future to have a career in the sports industry.

Kirsty said, “I am delighted to have qualified for next weeks championship, I’ve worked hard throughout the summer to achieve this qualification and hope for the best result.”
