Second year sports student Danni Dewsbury, formerly of Bradon Forest School has been selected by Wiltshire Women’s team to tour Sri Lanka with them in February 2018.
Danni has been a keen cricketer since the age of 11 years old and is studying Sports Development, Fitness and Coaching at the College. This is the first year that Wiltshire ladies have taken a team abroad, and something that Danni is hoping to continue with her gap year when she finishes her sports course next year along alongside travelling around the world and playing cricket in association with Sport Lived. On return to the UK, Danni hopes to continue her studies at Southampton Solent University to study PE Teaching.
Danni currently plays for Cricklade Men’s Team, Cirencester Women’s Team and is part of the coaching team at Cricklade where she looks after the Under 11s.
