Sam wins Walktography Competition

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, students discovered a different approach to the art of photography by walking around their local area to enhance their wellbeing. With just a mobile phone and a creative mind set, student’s had a challenge to capture images of either of the following: sports, insects/birds, architecture, scenic views, transport, reflections, food/drink, water, friendships or literature/writing.

Utilising the #cirencollwalktography, students had the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw of winning best picture.

After much deliberation, the judges agreed that the winner for this Walktography competition is Sam Torrington with a fantastic picture of an abandoned building with graffiti on the wall reflecting on surface water (architecture, water and reflection theme).

Congratulations to our winner and thank you to everyone that entered!
